For the new housemate among us,

The top fridge

Shelf.

May we create for him

Space

That he might feel

And fuel

Shape

Of himself.

For the way

A new body

Allows our selves

To embody new

Practices,

Reflections.

Helping hold the weight,

We find ourselves lightened

And enlightened,

In your arrival.

May we arrive

More fully

Into and unto

Taking off the shelves

Old

Unaddressed habits.

Open the door

Let them in

Breathe new life

Begin again,

This full house

espouses

a new

more vibrant wholeness.

Through dear

And clunky

Invitations

Each situation

Grants more opportunity

To practice

Anew.
