Tears

For the tears of the pilgrim, we pray

For that which is heavy to be left behind

For that which requires courage to be carried and held

May that which we grieve and carry

Be walked with

Sat with

As we are companioned by Jesus along the way

As we are companioned by each other along the way

May we hold space for each other

Bearing witness to the holy, divine and human within each other

May this meal and time together bring nourishment to our bodies and souls.
