Eyes

For the eyes of the pilgrim, we pray

That they may see the glory of the Lord in this place

Thin and open

This space speaks to incarnation

We wait with open lids and eager hearts

To encounter the wild goose among us

Whether we arrive eager or weary or both

May we see something that gives us hope

May this meal and time together bring nourishment to our bodies and souls.
