4) Justice

Published on

Liturgy

Welcome begets hospitality
Space for stories and kinship
Evolves into community...
Cultivating justice.

Our table knits togetherness
Food shared builds familiarity and friendship
We become more aware of each other

For what is injustice?
The dismissal of someone’s voice
The refusal of someone’s right to have food and safety
Forgetting someone’s
dignity
humanity
and also, divinity
Creation and creature bear the imago Dei
In the presence of another
We sit in the presence of the Creator

As we serve food
let us serve one another
Through these relationships
We cultivate justice
