Lungs
For the lungs of the pilgrim, we pray
Upon the long hikes and sheep’s path
For those who have forgotten, teach us to breathe again
Teach us to breathe in deeply,
Inviting all air and spirit to richly pour through our bodies
May our breathing anchor us in the moment
And reconnect us to the Spirit who hovers over the waves in chaos
And who breathes life into our dry bones
May our breathing remind us
That our God is always and ever present with us
May this meal and time together bring nourishment to our bodies and souls.
