Feet

For the feet of the pilgrim, we pray

For they led us on this way

May they lead us where we need to walk

And teach us to be present in the here and now

Our toes teach us balance

Our blisters teach us rest

May our feet anchor our bodies and minds

To this place and thin space

So that we might be made in the image of the good news

Embodied as Christ in flesh and bone

God with us where we stand

May this meal and time together bring nourishment to our bodies and souls.
